1. Who we are
Sportis is a technology platform that helps Brazilian athletes — and their guardians — identify North American universities (NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA) where they may have better chances of obtaining athletic scholarships. We are not a recruiting agency, we do not represent athletes, and we do not guarantee results.
2. What we offer
A free analysis of the athletic profile, cross-referenced with our public database of university programs and their recruiting patterns. The result is a data-based probability ranking, not a guarantee. Coaches' decisions depend on variables we do not control.
3. Registration of minors
Athletes under 18 may only register with the express consent of a legal guardian (mother, father, court-appointed guardian or authorized sports agent). Registration is completed by the guardian, who receives the platform's primary communications. Minors' data is handled with enhanced protection, in accordance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
4. Accuracy of information
You agree to provide truthful information. False or inaccurate data compromises the quality of the analysis and may lead to the deletion of the profile without notice.
5. Limitation of liability
Sportis is not responsible for: (a) decisions by coaches or universities regarding admission and scholarships; (b) costs related to the application process (SAT, ACT, TOEFL, visas, travel); (c) direct communication between the athlete/guardian and the university; (d) changes to NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA rules that occur after the analysis is generated.
6. Intellectual property
The brand, logo, visual identity and all of the platform's technology belong to Sportis. Public data about universities remains with its respective sources.
7. Updates
These terms may be revised. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users at least 30 days in advance.
